Your event can be 1 hour to a whole day! We're very flexible. The standard time for an event is about 2-3 hours.

For events, it depends on the time, number of participants, and what the program includes. The price per participant typically ranges from $15-$30.

The cost will always include rentals, private belayers, and instruction. Additional requests like closing the gym for your event, yoga classes, team building, or the rope swing and rappeling (etc) will be have their own fees.

Yes! The minimum number of participants for creating an event is 5 climbers. Our maximum number of participants for an event is around 100 climbers.

Yes! Every person visiting Volta MUST complete a waiver to be in the facility, even if they are not climbing. Volta digital waivers do not expire (unless someone turns 18).

For those who have never completed a waiver before, the Program Coordinator will send the Event Organizer a specific waiver link to track completion.

A parent or legal guardian must complete waivers for anyone under 18 years of age.

We recommend wearing something you feel comfortable moving in!

Climbing can be a workout! Pants are recommended for first-time climbers. Our climbing walls are textured and can be abrasive against the skin.

Skorts, dresses, and skirts can be uncomfortable when wearing a harness.

Yes, please bring water bottles! Volta provides reusable water cups and drinking water but the open cups are not ideal in the bouldering area.

Bringing a water bottle ensures participants stay hydrated and helps keep our floors dry!

There is no maximum age range! We encourage everyone to climb if they feel comfortable trying.

For young ages, it depends on the child’s focus if climbing will be a good fit for them. Our recommendation is no younger than 4 years old. Ages younger than 6 will require active supervision. Please reach out if you have any questions/concerns! Every child is different.
