  • Position : This role is primarily customer-facing. Your job is to facilitate a rewarding experience from start to finish and to embody and amplify the values and culture of our Volta community.

    From first impressions (front desk check ins, membership, class and waiver management, rentals and retail, selling food and beverage, giving tours of the facility, administering belay tests, participating in the cleanliness and order of Volta) to the lasting impressions (engagement, acknowledgement, enthusiasm, and communication) your role is profoundly important.

    This is an opportunity to share your passion with the people that walk through the door.

    Qualifications : It is an exciting phase of a brand new business and there will be a lot of things thrown our way.

    You are an active participant with critical thinking skills and a desire to elevate the team experience. We want to design our environment and build community and this takes conscious, open and kind people who are proactive and willing to learn and to lead. You are flexible with a willingness to wear different hats and jump right in.

    Experience is preferred. Capacity to observe, adjust, and communicate with a range of people in a high energy environment is necessary. Understanding of how to promote safety and have fun required.

    Must be at least 18 years old. Flexible part-time to full-time potential.

    Pay : starting at $15/hr.

  • Position : Teaching and leading varying levels of skills based climbing classes.

    Building climbers and inspiring transformation through instruction and support.

    Qualifications : You are dynamic and passionate about climbing. You are creative, and eager to find ways to reach the people in your class. Available to teach multiple classes a week.

    Classes may include, but are not limited to, Learn the Ropes (our Intro to Top Rope), Sport Lead Climbing, or various specialized clinics.
